A new chapter for Workiva Carbon formerly Sustain.Life
Last week, we were delighted to announce that Sustain.Life has been acquired by Workiva, the world’s leading cloud platform for assured integrated reporting–revolutionizing how companies approach sustainability reporting and carbon management.
In the same week, Workiva launched Workiva Carbon, an innovative platform designed to streamline the entire lifecycle of measuring, managing, and reporting carbon emissions. With this powerful new tool, the Sustain.Life offering will now be integrated into Workiva Carbon, enhancing its capabilities and reach.
Why this matters
The launch of Workiva Carbon comes at a crucial time. Companies are under increasing pressure to meet sustainability reporting requirements driven by many regulations, including the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the SEC's climate rule, and California’s Senate Bills 253 and 261. These regulations, hot topics on our podcast, mandate rigorous reporting and carbon and climate data transparency.
As businesses strive to achieve their net-zero targets and uphold ESG commitments, the demand for comprehensive and accurate carbon data across the organization and its supply chain has never been higher. Workiva Carbon is poised to be a game-changer, providing an easy-to-use platform that simplifies these complex processes.
Looking ahead
We are incredibly excited about the future as we embark on this new journey with Workiva—the integration of Sustain.Life into Workiva Carbon will empower organizations to manage their carbon footprints better and enhance their sustainability efforts.
Future-proof your business by fighting climate change
